Paul Voss
Associate professor of engineering
Paul Voss is an associate professor of engineering at Smith College in North Hampton, Massachusetts. He has a Ph.D. in Earth and planetary sciences from Harvard, and mechanical engineering and visual arts degrees from Brown University. Voss applies his knowledge of engineering and design to the study of the environment. He has developed instruments for NASA’s high-altitude aircraft, scientific balloons for atmospheric research, and experiments to study carbon dioxide effects on forest regeneration.
