Martin Green
Marty Green currently leads the Materials for Energy and Sustainable Development Group at NIST. He received a Ph.D. in Materials Science from MIT and spent most of his career at Bell Laboratories before coming to NIST in 2003. Marty pursues outside interests in travel, reading, photography and numismatics. He fancies himself a raconteur and enjoys telling the story of his Woodstock adventure most of all. (And yes, he is familiar with the theory that if you remember Woodstock, you weren’t there.)
