David Lawson is the technical director at Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). Lawson is a management systems expert and his responsibility includes developing LRQA’s risk-based assessment approach for LRQA Business Assurance. Lawson also represents certification bodies on UK and international committees developing new standards and integrating risk management and management systems in the field of organizational resilience. Lawson joined LRQA in 1991, holds an MBA, and is a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
