Jakob Bjorklund is the global director for process industries at Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS), a software company that develops, supplies, and implements IFS Applications, which is an extended enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite built on service-oriented architecture (SOA) technology. Bjorklund holds a master of science in industrial engineering and management from the University of Linköping. In his 14 years with IFS, he has been involved with supply chain management consulting, sales and marketing, and strategy for process industries and supply chain management. IFS is headquartered in Sweden and its U.S. headquarters are in Ithaca, Illinois.
